Admission for this program is $20 per person.

Free on-street parking is available near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave., and a paid municipal parking lot is located three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave. Both areas are well-lit for secure evening parking.

About the performances

Step into a realm of sensory delight as you venture into the heart of Japanese culture at The Fallser Club! Enjoy the rhythmic beats of taiko drums, the melodic tones of the sanshin, a rare Okinawan musical instrument, and the enchanting plucks of the koto, a traditional Japanese zither. Experience the lively Sōran Bushi dance, a Hokkaido sea shanty and one of Japan’s most famous traditional songs, and join a chorus singing a cherry blossom song in Japanese. Be enchanted by a special duo band curated exclusively for this Kick-off night.

As a final touch, immerse yourself in the intricate strokes and profound meaning of a unique Japanese calligraphy, adding a visual feast to this celebration of Japanese artistry and tradition.
