Experience a traditional tea ceremony in the tea house at the Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center. Members of Urasenke Philadelphia will lead Japanese tea ceremony demonstrations at Shofuso on Sunday, September 14, 2025. During the ceremony, guests will enjoy a bowl of matcha, Japanese green tea, and a traditional, seasonal sweet, wagashi.

Participants should be prepared to remove their shoes and sit on the floor for the duration of the demonstration. Limited seating will be available.
