Experience a traditional tea ceremony in the tea house at the Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center. Members of Urasenke Philadelphia will lead Japanese tea ceremony demonstrations at Shofuso on Sunday, May 11, 2025. During the ceremony, guests will enjoy a bowl of matcha, Japanese green tea, and a traditional, seasonal sweet, wagashi.

Space is limited, and advanced registration is required. Capacity is limited to 25 participants per session. JASGP Members must sign in to receive the membership discount during checkout.
Participants should be prepared to remove their shoes and sit on the floor for the duration of the demonstration. Limited seating will be available.
