Yokai are supernatural creatures and spirits from Japanese folklore that live all around us. Learn about them in this all ages weekend event at Shofuso! Families can participate in a scavenger hunt and win prizes. Listen to kamishibai tales of ogres, water imps, and goblins, craft a yokai to take home!

Activities:
• Scavenger Hunt: follow the clues and find real objects around Shofuso which inspired yokai myths
• Kamishibai Storytelling (every hour starting at 12pm): experience Japan’s classic paper theater style of storytelling with slightly-spooky stories
• Crafts: sit down with staff and make spooky origami!

When:
• Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30, 11am – 5pm. All activities are free after regular admission.
