Experience Japanese New Year while learning how to craft your own Japanese Oshogatsu Decorations to take home!
Join us on December 9 and 10 at Shofuso to learn how to make traditional Oshogatsu decorations with instructor Tamiko. These intimate capacity crafting sessions will give you a better understanding of Japanese New Year traditions while also guiding you through the process of making a traditional miniature kadomatsu (pine and bamboo decorations) and kumade (bamboo rake) decoration for your home.
Register for the Kadomatsu Making Workshop on Saturday, December 9: 11 AM; 12 PM; 1 PM; 2 PM; 3 PM (max. 3 people in each slot).
Register for the Kumade Making Workshop on Sunday, December 10: 11 AM; 12:30 PM; 2 PM (max 2 people in each slot).
