Volunteers are needed for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in April and the Obon festival in August. Volunteers are typically not needed to help out with day-to-day operations at Shofuso since we have a dedicated staff to maintain the house and garden. If any other volunteer opportunities come up, they'll be shared through our website. Fill out the form below if you would like to be added to the list.

Part-time Visitor Service Assistants (VSA) are hired once a year in February, who cover our tour guide and customer service needs at Shofuso. VSA announcements are posted around December–February on our website.
