Festival Accessible Entry and Transport Information

Site Accessibility

The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia is held in a large, open outdoor space in West Fairmount Park.  Attending the event requires a minimum non-vehicular, pedestrian travel distance of 1/2 mile.  Full festival coverage ranges between 1-2 miles. Visitors should feel comfortable with these pedestrian travel distances.

No Vehicle Parking On-Site

In order to maintain the safety of the large pedestrian crowds entering and exiting the festival, we cannot allow direct on-site parking of vehicles. Additionally, much of the nearby site-adjacent vehicular traffic will be limited and tightly managed for public safety.

Access Options

    1. RIDE-SHARE DROP-OFF POINT
For those comfortable and able to traverse non-ramped
curbs and an uneven semi-paved path, the general public Ride-Share Drop-Off Point along the Avenue of the Republic provides the quickest, closest, and simplest access to the festival grounds. This point does not provide vehicle parking, and is for *drop-offs and pickups only*. It is not accessible for wheelchairs or mobility devices due to curbs and uneven ground
