Ring in the New Year with a celebration of song and dance, featuring the phenomenal 13-year-old violinist Himari who is making her debut with The Philadelphia Orchestra. The program will include an exciting collection of beloved dance music, including the Viennese waltz, mambo, tango, the Charleston and more. The dancers of Caleb Teicher and Company will help bring the music to life, along with principal guest conductor Marin Alsop.

Himari started studying violin at the age of 3 under Koichiro Harada and Machie Oguri. By age 6 she had her first performance with a professional orchestra and in 2022 became the youngest student to enroll in the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. She has won numerous prizes in international competitions and has performed around the world with renowned conductors and orchestras. Click Here to learn more about her stunning career.
