Course Description
Japanese Classroom is a formal Japanese language education program geared towards working adults. Students must be over 18 years of age, unless otherwise confirmed by the instructor. Each course covers 2 chapters in the New Japan Times Genki books over 10 weeks. Class meetings are held weekly from 7:30 – 9:00 PM online through Zoom.
Students of 201 should have completed Japanese 105 or its equivalent and should be familiar with basic kanji and grammar. Topics covered in Japanese 201 include:

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Classes canceled due to low enrollment (under 4 students) will receive full refunds. No refunds will be given past the registration deadline for students who wish to withdraw from the class.
Class Absence Policy
Class recordings may be made available to students with legitimate excused absences, which include family emergencies, health concerns, or other emergencies as determined by the course instructor. Class recordings will not be made outside of these excused absences and another method of catching up will be determined by the teacher.
Class Materials Policy
Any material shared in class over the course of the semester is not meant to be distributed outside of class. Students are not permitted to download and share class materials to anyone outside of class.
