The Philly Japanese Conversation Club is a free monthly program for Japanese and English speakers of all levels to practice their language skills, share language resources, learning methods, and practice reading and typing Japanese together. It is a safe space for people to make connections within the community. Members are encouraged to share links to resources and pose questions to other members of the group.
Meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at Shofuso, unless otherwise noted. Starting in November, the Fairmount Park Conservancy has generously offered the Conversation Club a space for the winter at their Center for Parks in Ohio House, just a short drive up Belmont Avenue from Shofuso. Please check out their website to see all of the exciting programs they offer! https://myphillypark.org/.
