Family Program—Vintage Vanguard: Experimental Art Workshop

UPDATE

On Friday, May 31, 2024, the University of the Arts, a primary presenting partner for “Community of Images,” abruptly announced its imminent closure, slated for Friday, June 7, 2024. As a result, the status of the exhibition and related programs became uncertain.

Currently, all exhibition-related programs are now scheduled to take place at the Philadelphia Art Alliance, including during the exhibition’s opening weekend, Friday–Sunday, June 14–16, 2024.

For the latest information, please refer to the exhibition website.

Join us on Saturday, June 22, 2024, and bring the whole family for a fun, low-tech video art-making workshop! Inspired by works from the “Community of Images” exhibition, we will be making immersive light installations and crowdsourced animation. All you need to bring is your imagination and your smartphone.
