On February 10, we were honored to take part in a Recognition Ceremony hosted by Ambassador Satoshi Katahira for Mr. Dennis Morikawa, outgoing Honorary Consul of Japan in Philadelphia, in celebration of his 26-year legacy of service, and to welcome his successor Mr. Patrick Dailey.
Both Dennis and Pat are founding members of the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia, and have had a profound and lasting impact on our community and remain steadfast pillars of its strength and vitality. They continue to serve as dedicated members of the JASGP Board of Directors. Dennis has recently assumed the role of Board President and will lead the organization through a transformative new chapter. We would like to express our deep appreciation for both of them for their longstanding commitment to strengthening the bonds between Japan and Philadelphia.
