Enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at Shofuso. Members of Urasenke Philadelphia will demonstrate a tea ceremony, and provide guests with a bowl of matcha (green tea) and a seasonal sweet.

Be prepared to sit on the floor for the duration of the program. Limited chairs are available.

Registration is required for all tea demonstrations. Admission is $40/$35 (JASGP Members).

Covid-19 Policy: As of August 12, 2021, Philadelphia city officials put a new mask mandate into effect for indoor businesses and institutions. Practitioners, demonstration participants, and guests will wear masks for all activities that take place in a public setting except when drinking tea and eating sweets until this mandate is lifted. Proof of vaccination is required for all participants. Refund policy: full refund given with one week advance notice. After that tickets are non refundable.
