Tea Ceremony at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Watch a traditional Japanese tea ceremony take place in Sunkaraku (Evanescent Joys), the ceremonial teahouse designed by Ōgi Rodō.

Witness how the tea ceremony becomes a contemplative experience, offering a respite from the complexities of daily life. Sit outside the tea house in its surrounding garden to view the ceremony while an instructor from Shofuso narrates what is happening.
