Shofuso is proud to host the reception and exhibition to honor Ikebana International (I.I.) Philadelphia Chapter 71. Members of I.I. Chapter 71 have generously provided Shofuso with beautiful ikebana arrangements for many years, adding to the beauty of our historic site. This exhibition will run Friday, September 7th, through Sunday, September 9th during regular Shofuso open hours.

The annual Ikebana Exhibition expands on the regular installations and is a floral extravaganza increasing the number and scale of arrangements ordinarily on display.

Ikebana arrangements are provided by practitioners of multiple schools of ikebana. Flower displays are presented throughout the house and on the verandas during the exhibition. Visitors are invited to appreciate the ikebana as they move through the site.

Floral arrangements are created on location by members of I.I. Philadelphia Chapter 71 and are on display through Shofuso’s season.
