20th Year Fund

Support Continued Exchange

subaru pledge plan

Dear Supporters,

As I reflect back on over 15 years at the helm of the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia, I realize that the support of members and friends has been both a true joy and a motivating force.

In 2013 we announced the creation of the 20th Year Fund to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of JASGP. Since then, we’ve raised more than $90,000 dollars to support expanded exchange between Philadelphia and Japan. But the work is not done yet. Subaru of America has pledged a $50,000 matching donation if we can pass the $150,000 mark.

As you’ll notice on graph to the right, we’ve already received pledges of more than $90,000. Additionally, Subaru of America has set up a generous matching offer to help us achieve our goal.

As 2015 winds down, please consider making a donation to the 20th Fund online or by mail. All donations are tax deductible and help us toward the matching benchmark. Click donate to make a secure donation towards the 20th Year Fund, and help support JASGP for another 20 years!

My time as Executive Director at JASGP was unexpected but extremely fulfilling, thanks to the wonderful people I have met along the way. I am so grateful for the tremendous support I have had. Although I will be stepping down from the position, I fully intend to continue to work toward the mission of building connections between Philadelphia and Japan.

Warmest regards,
Kazumi Teune
Executive Director
