Greater Philadelphia’s only Japanese market, Maido!, has finally reopened in Ardmore; only two train stops down from its former location in Narberth.

The new location is very easy to find. It is literally right in front of Ardmore Station, on Lancaster avenue. This is also great spot for locals in the area since it is right in the heart of the town and next to Suburban Square. The official address is 3-5 E. Lancaster Ave.

Like before, the market features an open grill with seating on either side so patrons can watch their orders of okonomiyaki, yakisoba, etc. being made in front of their eyes.

There is also a cute corner for just for bentos.

And of course you can still find your favorite Japanese snacks and groceries.

There’s even window seating so you can enjoy the natural lighting and people watch.

Maido! A Marketplace of Japan will be having its Grand Opening this Saturday, Sept. 19th Saturday, September 26th so make sure to drop by!

*Update (9/22/15) – We erroneously reported the Grand Opening to be a week early. Sorry bout that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
