Always been curious about Japanese? Having trouble sticking to independent study? JASGP’s Japanese Classroom offers an accessible, affordable opportunity to participate in a positive group study environment. Classes meet once weekly on weekday evenings for 10 weeks at International House Philadelphia in the North America Room. Registration costs $400, or $380 for JASGP members except where otherwise noted. Textbooks may also be purchased through JASGP.
Japanese 102 is a continuation of Japanese 101, but still an early introductory class. Students entering 102 should already be familiar with katakana, hiragana, greeting, numbers, and basic question words. This class uses the Japan Times Genki 1 textbook and workbook. Topics include:
